TEARS OF A TIGER: Seeing Behind the Masks

Task

- Masks- by reading "We Wear the Masks" and reading commentaries on it, students will identify the point
Paul Lawerence Dunbar is making and will appy the ideas to the novel
- Students will also look at themselves individually and through writing, discussion and self-analysis,
will identify different masks they put on.
- Students will create visual representations of these masks and write about the mask and what they
are hiding
- WRITING STYLE: Students will contine to examine the use of different writing genres Drapier uses throughout
the novel. By looking more closely and analyzing 2 diffenent genres
- WRITING STYLE: Students will also create their own story using various forms of genre.
