Sharon Drapier's Tears of a Tiger is a poignant book bringing the readers into the lives of students at Hazelwood High during a tragic series of events.  By using multiple genres of writing, Drapier enables the reader to gain a richer and deeper understanding of the characters throughout the tragedies.  By gaining a deeper understanding of the characters, readers are able to see the masks various characters are wearing as well as see those characters true thoughts and feelings.
 
This webquest is a search for how different genres help one to communicate different ideas and feelings.  Through visual arts, writing, reading and analyzing, you will gain a deeper appreciation for various writing genres as well as showcase your talents.
